    <itunes:summary>The Pledging Tree Foundation is a Delaware state incorporated non-profit, sponsor and donor supported foundation that strives to bring a positive change in financially challenged communities all across US. The foundation is tax-exempted under section 501 (c) (3) by the IRS. TPTF is an approved agency to receive donor designated funds through United Way of Chester County.
 

The Pledging Tree Foundation (TPTF) was founded by Prerna Singh, a senior at Downingtown High School West.  It started with an aim to cultivate a disciplined savings approach among financially challenged families in local communities. TPTF pledges to help those who are pledging to help themselves by saving for their better future.

      <description>Prerna Singh is the president, CEO and founder of The Pledging Tree Foundation (&#8220;TPTF&#8221;). A senior at Downingtown High School (West), Ms. Singh started TPTF as her graduation project. Her passion to make a difference in people&#8217;s lives has touched new heights. She believes that she can make a noticeable contribution by changing people's lives and shaping the community where she lives. Ms. Singh is involved in a variety of other community service projects, notably Big Brother/Big Sister as well as being an active member of the National Honor Society. Recently, she was selected for &#8220;Good Citizenship&#8221; award from Big Brother/Big Sister of America. She aspires to be an entrepreneur with an undergraduate degree in business followed by a graduate degree  in medicine. In the summer of 2007, Ms. Singh attended the National Youth Leadership Forum in Washington DC, where she joined other talented young leaders from across the nation to participate a week long forum on medicine. </description>
